Greg Joseph

Greg loves the classic big bands, particularly Glenn Miller, Artie Shaw, and Tommy Dorsey. He has played piano in community dance bands for 40 years, and been with Swingmasters since 2014.

Other than being a surprisingly good singer, Greg is a serious and dedicated piano player and doesn't want us to draw a whole lot of attention to him, so we won´t.

Mike Seto

Mike Seto has been SwingMasters’ bassist since 2016.  He began playing bass in the eighth grade. He studied under jazz bassist Ralph Peña for three summers at National Stage Band Camp.  At Sacramento State University, he was a tuba major.  Mike attended seminary in Sioux Falls, SD, and performed in local bands and directed the church choir.

Mike pastored churches, directed choirs and taught band/music in public school in California for 30 years.  When Mike retired, he acquired a string bass and re-learned skills that had been dormant for over 40 years.  Thanks to John Doolittle, he began to play in a small group, leading him to the Swing Masters.
