Our Singers

"Music has been a part of my life since I can remember tap dancing to such great tunes as “Ain’t Misbehavin”, “Goody Goody”, “On the Sunny Side of the Street” and “Tea for Two”.

Then came Rock & Roll and Rhythm & Blues! My brother, Joe, invited me to sing on one of his gigs and I was hooked! Our musical careers took us from playing on a flatbed trailer for the grand opening of a Goodwill store to high school dances, fashion shows at Rhodes/Liberty House, the Holiday Inn, Hilton, and Hyatt circuit, and the casinos in Nevada. With the band "Sweet Feat, a Musical Treat," we had some great gigs … most notably The Palms Playhouse in Davis, Caesar’s in Las Vegas, and Hugh Hefner’s Playboy Mansion. From there, I got an invitation to audition as a backup vocalist with Wayne Newton. What an opportunity! From there, on to Nashville, TN where I learned more about the music business and recording. I returned to Sacramento in 2004 and again my brother, Joe, introduced me to one of the Swing Masters. I was invited to one of their rehearsals, and to my delight, have been a part of this great group of musicians ever since."
